WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

At Soul Food Project, we grow while looking up. That means while we may be working in the ground, we are looking at those impacted by our work.

Being employed with the programs, youth can expect to learn, grow, and build community.

Youth can expect to learn entrepreneurial, interpersonal, and professional skills that will set them up for a lifetime of leadership.

They will routinely observe and practice these skills while simultaneously exploring the intricacies of sustainable market farming. They will grow food from seed to fruit, harvest it, and distribute it to our community.

Youth will build community through their peers at work, volunteers on the farm, and service at another food service organization.
