GARDEN GROW SHARE

Learn, plant, and grow with helpful guidance in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

We wanted to make it easier for our city's growers to grow beautiful and productive home and community gardens.

For a sliding-scale membership fee, individuals, households, and community organizations are given seeds and transplants to start their garden and have access to monthly garden workshops, technical support, garden and power tool rentals.

Past  Workshop Topics

  • Garden planning and layout

  • Companion planting, square foot and container gardening

  • Pest identification and control

  • How to harvest veggies and when to know they are ready

  • Composting

  • Crop rotation and season extension

  • End of season best practices
