Danielle began her agricultural career in 2013. Her love for farming started eight years ago as an intern for a community garden. During her internship, Danielle led a program that educated youth about micro greens, worm composting, fruit trees, and vegetable production. With this experience, Danielle was inspired to establish a nonprofit, urban farm in Indianapolis located in the Northeast Corridor: Soul Food Project Indy.

Youth Farm-Leadership Team
This position is a year-round, farm management and professional development opportunity for teens to grow and distribute vegetables to pantries in their community and assist with operations during market season. We will focus on developing essential leadership, teamwork, and civic engagement skills.
The Youth Leadership Team implements what they learn during Youth Grow Indy's Summer Sessions. Youth Leaders spend their mornings working with new Youth Grow Indy participants and/or managing the gardens. Job development workshops take place in the afternoons and teens will learn new skills and about various issues that affect their communities.
Leadership positions are currently filled for the 2023 Summer Session. Applications for the 2024 Season will open in August!
